Summary describing your organization: Based in Palm Beach County, Florida, The Truth Project educates young men and women, their parents, their teachers and the community on issues surrounding military recruiting and alternatives to enlisting in the military, and issues of government/corporate intrusion in to students’ privacy. Members of our Florida organization were identified as "credible threats" to military recruiters and recruiting facilities in the CIFA database under the TALON program. Our mission is to inform, educate, and encourage students to think about their choices and make informed decisions. We also train activists in other areas of Florida in achieving access to schools and effectively carrying the message about military recruiters' mis-information, dis-information, and omission of facts about military enlistment and life before, during and after military service.

What Every Young Woman Should Know About the Military

What Every Young Woman Should Know About the Military

A Brochure for Young Women Thinking About Joining the Military | 2022

"When I joined, I knew that women in the military faced an uphill battle, but I didn't fully understand how serious the issues were and how reluctant leadership is to doing anything about it.

The truth is that there's a culture of harassment and assault that is incredibly harmful to all troops, but especially to gender minorities."
